Virtual Worlds

I've finally got my lazy shit ass to start on my IT law essay. As we all know, the start is always the most difficult because we need to get the ideas to flow out. Well for your information, my ideas are probably caught in a jam somewhere because, well, nothing is flowing out.

So after staring at my laptop screen for a good 10 mins, I decided that by hook or by crook, I had to throw something out.

So this is what i managed to come up with for my introduction, or let's just say the first sentence of my introduction:

"It is easy to brush aside online role-playing games such as World of Warcrafts and Everquest as, well, just games."

To which I proudly show Miss Anon for her opinion.

anon. says: (10:05:46 PM)
?!?!?!?!!

anon. says: (10:05:52 PM)
excuse me

anon. says: (10:05:54 PM)
is IT law

anon. says: (10:06:04 PM)
not bf bashing time hor

anon. says: (10:06:04 PM)
heh

AND, I decided to show it to Joe too for his opinion!

joe says: (10:07:18 PM)
world of warcraft dont have the s behind warcrafts dear

LOL!

See the vast difference in their reactions?

And to top it off, Miss Anon decided that Joe's reaction warranted a boyfriend bashing essay and she decided to help me with it by coming up with the following:

anon. says: (10:09:29 PM)
"online games should be outlawed because of its far reaching adverse consequences, of which the WOW Widow club is of most worthy of mention

anon. says: (10:10:57 PM)
one can laugh the club off as a gathering of spouses and girlfriends bitter about their other half's pastime, but in reality, it is representative of such games having an impact on people's everyday lives. in particular, relationships and families are being broken up"

:)

The joys of IT law.

Oh for your information, I did join the club to spite Joe last time for a while. I left the group because it was just too intense for me. Those people REALLY had issues and it was starting to disturb me.

ok back to my introduction!

OH! And yes. I've edited the "s" out of "Warcrafts" already.

:)
