my mother

has officially joined the mac family.

she declared that my old ibook belongs to her now and she uses it mainly to watch her hk drama dvds. did i mention that she carries it around with her all the time? like from the kitchen to the bedroom to the hall. and recently, she has caught on to the blog fever.

no, she has not started her own blog if that's what you're wondering. that's way too advance for her. she heard about my godbro's blog and decided that she wants to find out about his life in venezuela. and so i've bookmarked the links for her in her bookmark bar in her ibook for easy access

oh she tried to sneakily ask if i have a blog but of course i was smart enough to see through that.

mum: "wah, everybody seems to have a blog. even (some old hk actress) has a blog. *pause* do you have one?"

me: "no i don't."

mum: "why? everyone has one!"

me: "i'm too lazy."

HAHA! which is half-true considering how i hardly update nowadays.

but i do worry that in the future (not near future though) my mum would find out how to link to my blog from my comments in my godbro's blog (since i have to use my blogger id to comment in it). if she ever finds the link, i'll no longer be able to complain about anything pertaining to family. but that is a big IF. so i shall not worry for now, especially since i still get the frequent "YAYA! WHY THE WINDOW DISAPPEAR HALFWAY WHEN I'M WATCHING MY SHOW!" or "HOW DO I PAUSE THE SHOW!"

i've resorted to teaching her the basic shortcuts like how spacebar is to pause the show and how the apple button + Q is to exit a program. of course with regards to the window disappearing, i've had to disable the Expose thingie (ok non apple people just ignore this.) if not i'll never get her off my back.

so basically, my mum is on her way to becoming a hip mac housewife. till the day she knows how to google, i think my blog is still safe from her prying eyes.

:)

ok now back to work!
