it has been a great day of soccer.. Singapore is the newly-crowned ASEAN soccer champs and man utd thrashed Spurs 4-0!

while watching the Singapore - Thailand match.. i couldn't help but kept thinking of jared singing "thai players keep falling down" ( to the tune of London bridge is falling down)! they kept falling and falling lah.. and not to mention they are smelly players.. spitting and rough tackling.. they ought to face disciplinary action for walking out on wednesday and such awful unsportsmanlike behaviour on the pitch today..


and during the man utd match.. i guess the highlight of the game was o'shea taking over as goalie since van der sar was injured and man utd have used up all their reserves.. o'shea was pretty good lor.. he actually survived a one on one with robbie keane! but generally it was just funny (esp since we were alr 4-0 up!) and all the players were like having a laugh.. quite arrogant i noe but ah wells! :)

anyway thanks to brenda.. i now have a weird despo person sms-sing me..

to cut the long story short.. this person is basically someone my aunt gave her puppy away to.. and he has my number because i had some stuff to tell him regarding the puppy, which my aunt didn't get to explain when they took the puppy from her (cos they were in a rush..) so a couple of days ago.. he called and i explained everything la.. and he did ask if there's anything regarding the pup could he still call me and i was like of course lah..

and just now.. i received an sms from him (in bad/weird english) asking to be friends.. "friends truly only.." (now tell me that ain't bad/weird english.. not to mention he peppers his smses with "yup"s..) and after a lil discussion with brenda coupled with the fact that i do like to be updated on the situation with the puppy.. i agreed to be friends.. and to my horror/deepest regret.. this dude immediately replies with a "can you introduce yourself more yup."

and before i could reply.. he starts msging me abt himself and stuff.. so brenda and i start devising plans to turn off this guy but all plans are not viable since this guy is linked to my mum thru her beautician.. (think telling him that i moonlight at geylang.. :| ) so i finally decide to move the guy over to msn so that i don't have to waste money on smses.. (and the possibility of blocking him!) BUT GUESS WHAT THE GUY SUGGESTS.. when he saw that i said i wanted to save money.. he says he will call me since i should have FREE INCOMING!

good lord.. is this how ppl make friends these days?! or am i just suaku..

tell me this guy ain't weird/despo/over-friendly in a freaky way..

why do i keep meeting/have contact with such weird ppl..

like i have another person asking me questions like

"do you date alot?"

"do you have high standards?"

"would you be able to accept if your other half does not earn as much as you do?"

and he tells me NOT to read too much into these questions when i ask him why..

right.

and i wonder why i'm still single..

ok.. time to slp.. enough ranting..

oh and in case you are wondering.. no the guy did not call me in the end thank god!
