came home late today cos i went to accompany jasmin for some dubious interview.. did i say interview? well.. it was more of a sales presentation.. a business proposition.. whatever it was.. anyways.. apparently.. jasmin did some survey and left her number.. den they called her to tell her about some water thingie which was going to be the official water of the beijing olympics.. den today they called her to go to the office for some interview and refused to give any details on what the interview is about.. so i decided to go with jasmin so that we can look out for each other..
turns out that the interview was actually jus some recruitment thingie where they wanted to train kids our age to become managers or whatever.. i basically think they jus want us to sell the water filters they import.. they made us sit through this really painful and distasteful and draggy sales presentation.. the presenter has really bad english (not trying to be evil but it was really quite bad.. i mean.. shouldn't they get like a presenter who speaks better?) and he kept using hokkien words and sometimes even spew some hokkien vulgarities.. damn out of point lah.. and the whole presentation was almost a whole hour! can die.. after the presentation.. jasmin decided that we should leave.. den we couldn't find the person in charge of us.. so we jus left.. by den it was like 910pm.. and i haven't had dinner! den guess what?! the guy in charge of us called jasmin and was damn pissed lah.. (i dun blame him since we did left without telling him) but den he kinda like got into a long argument with jasmin and i was like so pissed for jasmin that i kept telling her to jus put down on the guy.. but she refused and still patiently reasoned with the guy! man.. it was a horrible experience.. then the whole office was like quite bare and the people all so young.. din really feel v comfy in that office.. its like so dingy despite the fact they were all in suits and the office was so big.. (its 10 000sq feet according to the guy)
well.. moral of the story.. try not to leave ur number for the surveys u do.. and dun go for these so called interviews.. bleah.. anyway had a fun day with ruoying before this horrible incident.. went for coca buffet and had a free makeover at bobbi brown with ruoying today! thanks ruoying for ur nice jacket and card!! :D
