mum: it's very dangerous!
me: why?
mum: it's thailand!
me: but it's not mainland thailand! it's one of the islands..
mum: worse.. island.. will have tsunami!
me: *stunned* no tsunami wan lah!
mum: how you know.. got tsunami too late alr.. how long you going?
me: 5 days?
mum: go so long.. go there do what! disco again ah!
me: no lah!
mum: there got alot of drugs one i tell you!
me: ...
to my mum.. there are drugs EVERYWHERE.. and when i ask her where in the world is safe.. she replies..
mum: besides Singapore, you are only safe when i'm around..
