post deepavali

spent deepavali at auntie swee cheng's house to celebrate jo's 21st..

played chauffeur in the evening cos i had to send my grandma and aunt to a wedding dinner in ulu bukit batok and had to search for a 24 hour clinic for my sis cos she had stomach flu but ended at mt alvernia cos all the clinics were close..

speaking of which..

i've never laughed so much in a long time.. my sister was absolutely hilarious.. (apart from the fact that she was really miserable cos she puked twice and was in pain.. :P) she was totally paranoid about getting jabs and kept asking the nurse whether she had to get an injection..

the highlight of the day was:

sis: "if i get a jab on my butt.. how am i going to stop the bleeding??"

me: "you don't.. u will just have a lil blood stain on your panties.. teehee.."

pete: "no lah.. they will give u this teeny pad stop the bleeding!"

me: "that's called a plaster pete!"

sis: "..........."

hehehe.. i laughed till i almost cried lah.. i bet the nurse thought we were just mad.. :D

anyway.. itunes is playing one my my favourite songs - selena's "dreaming of you" now..
it's just one of those song that makes u feel so hopeful that things will turn out the way u want it and puts a smile on ur face as you listen to the lyrics..
