To Lena

dear friend, senior,

although we have not really been in contact for the past years, and that i've never known you very well.. i remember you to be a really nice person, always being kind to the people around you.. and i couldn't help but respect you for being such a dedicated athelete and caring senior..

you were only 22 - a fresh grad, when it happened.. u din even have a chance to attend ur graduation ceremony.. i can't help but feel angry that you were taken away so quickly before you could even start living your life and achieve your dreams..

i can only pray and hope that it wasn't painful and that you have already gone to be with Him.. i pray that your family will have the strength to accept this sad departure and live on with their lives without ever forgetting you..

may you rest in peace..

ur junior,
kelly

this is the only photo i can find of lena (she's the one bending down and smiling so happily).. and it's sad that i have to google her name to find it.. i guess all the pics that i have of her were those taken in secondary sch and digi cams weren't even invented yet.. but that's just an excuse.. i could have taken the effort to get to know her better but i didn't.. :(

this has only served to show me how precious and fragile life can be..

to all my friends out there.. i really want you guys to know that i love each of you very much and i really treasure the times that we've had.. let's live each day as though it will be our last and not have any regrets..
