Vesak day has always jus been a public holiday to me.. it nvr occurred to me that it meant anything else to others..
but as im typing now.. there are hundreds (maybe even thousands..) of people at the temple nearby my house.. going through this "ritual": making their way to some part of the temple by taking three steps and den kneeling down to kowtow.. and getting up again to take three more steps before kneeling to kowtow again..
they have been doing it for hours lah.. i really think its quite cool to see such a huge group of ppl doing the same actions together.. makes me admire them for being willing to go through such a tedious procedure at such an hour..
ah wells.. thought i might wanna blog about this so that when i read back next time.. i will rem the sight i have from my window..
yerp.. u gota witness this to understand..
